Country music star and Bobcat ambassador Justin Moore returned home to Poyen, Arkansas, with a special surprise for his hometown school. As part of Bobcat Company’s “Work Worth Doing” campaign, Moore presented Poyen High School with a brand-new Bobcat zero-turn mower during this year’s homecoming celebrations. The donation supports the school’s ongoing efforts to maintain its sports fields and grounds—an important source of pride for the Poyen community.

Celebrating Local Heroes Through “Work Worth Doing”

Bobcat’s “Work Worth Doing” initiative recognizes everyday people whose service strengthens their communities. Throughout the year, the campaign has highlighted teachers, first responders, volunteers and local leaders who give their time and talent to support others.

The program launched in May with a surprise donation of a Bobcat T595 compact track loader to Hoof Haven Sanctuary, a rescue for endangered and injured horses founded by U.S. veteran Jason Shields. In June, the Los Angeles Fire Department received a Bobcat UV34XL utility vehicle to support its first full-time wildland hand crew. Each donation honors individuals who represent the spirit of hard work, service and resilience.

Honoring the Heart of Poyen High School

Moore’s surprise continues the campaign’s mission by spotlighting the dedicated staff at Poyen High School—teachers, coaches and groundskeepers who regularly take on multiple roles to support their students and athletic programs. These staff members spend countless hours maintaining school grounds, ensuring every field reflects the pride of their community.

“Helping the home team—that’s work worth doing,” said Moore. “In my hometown of Poyen, everyone wears more than one hat. We coach. We cheer. We mow. It takes a whole town to keep our teams playing on fields we can be proud of. I’m thrilled to partner with Bobcat to give back in a way that truly matters.”

Empowering Community Support

The gifted zero-turn mower provides long-term value for the school’s maintenance team, delivering reliable performance for field upkeep, weekly grounds care and event preparation. The donation also underscores Bobcat’s commitment to supporting the people and places that inspire the company’s mission to empower others.

Community members can join the ongoing celebration by sharing their own “work worth doing” stories on social media using the hashtag #WorkWorthDoing and tagging @BobcatCompany.

Bobcat continues to build strong connections with communities across North America through philanthropy, volunteerism and partnerships that uplift everyday heroes.
