Envirotec Construction Services (ECS), based in Argyle, Texas, has grown from a small startup into one of the region’s most trusted excavation and site-development contractors. Founded in 1997 by Tom VanVickle, the company has steadily expanded to support North Texas’ rapid residential and commercial growth—specializing in excavation, grading, demolition, utilities, and stormwater management.
Today, ECS crews operate across a wide footprint stretching from McKinney and Dallas to communities as far north as Sanger. For operations field manager Robert Satterfield, the work is deeply meaningful.
“Any street we drive on, it’s very likely that we’ve had machines there with our guys working hard,” he says.
Bobcat Equipment Powers Daily Productivity
Bobcat equipment is central to ECS’ efficiency. Their fleet is built around reliable, high-performance compact machines, including:
T66 and T770 R-Series compact track loaders for heavy site work and grading
E60 and E88 excavators for precision digging, trenching and foundation preparation
MT100 mini track loaders for tight-access locations and detailed work
This balanced fleet allows ECS to adapt quickly—handling both major commercial projects and smaller residential jobs with the same level of accuracy and speed.
“The versatility of Bobcat equipment is unmatched,” Robert explains. “It allows us to tackle large-scale commercial work and tight-space residential tasks without missing a beat.”
A broad lineup of Bobcat attachments enhances the company’s capability even further. Pallet forks, land planes, vibratory rollers and sweepers help crews move materials, perform fine grading and maintain clean, efficient worksites.
Strong Dealer Support from Bobcat of North Texas
Behind the equipment is the support system that keeps ECS running. Bobcat of North Texas—along with representative Landon Clifton—has played a key role in the company’s long-term success.
“They’ve been with us from the start,” Robert says. “Whether it’s getting new R-Series machines during tight supply chain times or troubleshooting over the phone, their support has been phenomenal.”
From service to machine availability, ECS relies on the dealership to minimize downtime and maintain momentum across multiple active job sites.
Work Built on Integrity and Results
While equipment keeps projects moving, ECS credits its growth to the dedication of its team. High standards and accountability define their approach.
“There is no gray area,” Robert says. “We either did our job right, or we didn’t do it at all.”
With decades of experience, a skilled workforce and a reliable Bobcat fleet, ECS continues to help shape the expanding communities of North Texas—one job site at a time.
