Bobcat Company is bringing a powerful lineup of worksite solutions and forward-thinking technologies to Washington, D.C. for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM) Celebration of Construction on the National Mall. Held May 14–16, the event stretches between the American History Museum and the Smithsonian Castle, highlighting the essential equipment and innovations that help build a stronger America.

“This event is a great opportunity for manufacturers to share how our equipment and innovations are building a stronger America,” said Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America. “We look forward to demonstrating our advancements, connecting with policymakers and discussing the unique challenges and opportunities shaping today’s construction sector.”

Bobcat will feature a range of machines and technologies that demonstrate its commitment to end-to-end job site productivity—from compact loaders and excavators to portable power and operator-assist systems.

Featured Equipment at the Celebration of Construction

T86 Compact Track Loader

The Bobcat T86 is a flagship model known for versatility and job site performance, especially across construction and concrete applications. Its three hydraulic flow options—standard, high and super flow—are unique within the industry and allow operators to maximize productivity with Bobcat’s extensive attachment lineup. The T86 pairs seamlessly with the Bob-Tach® attachment mounting system for fast changes and broad capability.

E40 Compact Excavator

Compact yet powerful, the Bobcat E40 delivers impressive digging power, reach and lifting capability. With a minimal tail swing design that features less than two inches of overhang, the E40 is engineered for tight worksites where precision matters. It features nearly 4,000 pounds of lifting capacity, a standard long arm, fast cycle times and smooth, intuitive controls.

PG50 Portable Generator

Designed for events, emergency backup, disaster relief and construction, the PG50 portable generator provides reliable power where it’s needed most. Key features include:

  • Easy-to-read gauges

  • Built-in safety systems

  • Service-friendly access doors

  • A compact, rugged enclosure

  • 48 kVA (38 kW) output at just 64 dB(A)

Its long runtimes and durable design make it a must-have for continuous or mobile power operations.

PL65 Portable Light Tower

Known for exceptional illumination and runtime, the PL65 portable light tower offers:

  • 119-hour runtime

  • A 360-degree rotating mast

  • A mast that extends up to 23 feet

  • Individually adjustable LED fixtures

  • A lightweight, innovative clamshell canopy for easy service access

It’s ideal for utility work, emergency response, road construction, events and any job site requiring dependable nighttime visibility.

Showcasing Bobcat’s Technology Innovations

MaxControl Remote Operation

Bobcat’s MaxControl system lets operators control their loader and attachments remotely via iPhone or iOS device. This innovation is especially valuable for jobs that typically require two people—allowing one operator to handle tasks like backfilling, post-hole digging, trailer loading, rock picking and truck loading with greater efficiency and flexibility.

Collision Warning and Avoidance System

Bobcat’s collision warning and avoidance technology enhances job site awareness by tracking the position, direction and speed of objects relative to the machine. Operators can choose:

  • Active mode – where the machine automatically stops upon detecting an obstacle

  • Passive mode – providing audible alerts to help prevent collisions

This system is designed to support safety, visibility and machine awareness across busy job sites.

Celebrating U.S. Manufacturing and Innovation

Bobcat’s presence at the event underscores its strong American roots. The company invented the compact equipment industry in the late 1950s and has expanded significantly across the U.S. and globally over more than 65 years. Today, Bobcat continues to innovate and deliver solutions that help people across construction, agriculture, landscaping, utilities and more accomplish their toughest tasks.
