Kaufman’s heavy-duty 16,000 GVWR Deluxe Flatbed Trailer is built on a 10" I-beam mainframe with 3" channel crossmembers on 18" centers and 6" outer rails for strength and durability. It features an 18' flat deck with a 4' dovetail and 5' cleated swing-up ramps for easy loading, reinforced with 4" channel ramp frame runners. Optional lay-flat ramps use a 6' dovetail (included in overall trailer length). The one-piece mainframe and tongue are cold-formed in a hydraulic press with stacked crossmembers. Running gear includes two 7,000 lb. electric-brake axles with heavy-duty slipper spring suspension and 16" radial tires for long life. Standard upgrades include a US-made sealed modular wiring harness with lifetime LED lights, a lockable tool tray, 12,000 lb. drop-foot jack, stake pockets with rub rail, treated wood flooring, and an adjustable pintle ring on a heavy-duty nose plate.
