The Blue Diamond 60″ Extreme Duty Excavator Cutter is engineered for large-scale land-clearing and forestry applications on excavators in the 28,000 to 38,000-lb class. With a heavy-duty 1″ thick blade-carrier, high-torque piston hydraulic motor that delivers approximately 40% more torque than conventional geroler/gerotor motors, and three AR400 blades for aggressive cutting, this cutter is built to tear through large brush, saplings and heavy undergrowth with ease. Its open-front “cut-away” deck design improves visibility, lets material flow cleanly and keeps grass standing for a cleaner finish on site. The unit is designed for a 22-30 gpm hydraulic flow, includes a fully grease-filled drive system to improve bearing life and minimize downtime, and a case-drain on the host machine is required for proper installation.
