Bobcat Company is celebrating Park and Recreation Month this July by giving back to local green spaces through a nationwide social media campaign supporting the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).
Throughout the month, Bobcat invites people across the country to participate by sharing photos of Bobcat equipment helping with meaningful work in their communities.

Participants simply post a photo of Bobcat equipment—whether on personal property, at a park, or on a nearby job site—tag @BobcatCompany and use the hashtag #WorkWorthDoing. For every qualifying post shared between July 1–31, 2025, Bobcat will donate $10 to NRPA, with the goal of raising up to $150,000 in support of environmental preservation and community spaces.

Strengthening Communities Through Parks and Recreation

“Community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Laura Ness Owens, vice president of brand and marketing. “Our partnership with NRPA allows us to contribute to the creation of vibrant, sustainable park and recreation spaces that benefit people of all ages. These spaces strengthen communities by providing opportunities to connect, stay active and support overall well-being.”

Bobcat equipment plays a vital role in building and maintaining parks, recreation areas and public outdoor environments across the nation. By supporting NRPA this July, Bobcat is furthering its commitment to fostering safe, sustainable and thriving public spaces.

Celebrating Park and Recreation Month

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Park and Recreation Month, with the 2025 theme “Build Together, Play Together.”
The celebration recognizes park and recreation professionals for their vital work in strengthening neighborhoods, supporting public health and creating resilient, connected communities.

“Park and Recreation Month is a time to honor the professionals and agencies that make our communities stronger,” said Kristine Stratton, NRPA president and CEO. “We’re incredibly grateful for partners like Bobcat, whose support helps amplify the power of parks and the impact they have on people’s lives.”

Continuing the ‘Work Worth Doing’ Initiative

The campaign is part of Bobcat’s broader “Work Worth Doing” initiative, a year-long effort celebrating individuals and organizations who make a difference in their communities.
Earlier efforts have included surprise equipment donations, community recognitions and public service collaborations across the country.

Bobcat will continue highlighting inspiring stories and community contributions throughout the year, encouraging people to share their own examples of meaningful work and positive impact.
