Bobcat Company and its employees continue to demonstrate their commitment to giving back through a series of initiatives focused on strengthening communities, supporting nonprofit organizations and empowering individuals across North America. As part of this year’s Fall Giving Campaign and Doosan Bobcat Community Days, employees united worldwide to make a meaningful impact through charitable giving and hands-on volunteer work.
Employee-Led Giving: More Than $200,000 Donated
Bobcat’s annual Fall Giving Campaign once again saw strong participation, with employees donating to causes that matter most to them. Bobcat matched each employee contribution dollar-for-dollar, up to $3,000 per participant, resulting in more than $200,000 donated to 127 nonprofit organizations across North America.
“Community support is at the heart of who we are,” said Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc. “Partnering with employees to support organizations they care about allows us to uplift local communities and drive meaningful change.”
Doosan Bobcat Community Days: Volunteers Making a Global Impact
Coinciding with the Fall Giving Campaign, Doosan Bobcat Community Days brought together employees from around the world. In 2025, more than 700 employees across 12 countries volunteered thousands of hours to support community projects.
Teams helped revitalize parks, clean up public spaces, stock food pantries and support local nonprofits. In many locations, Bobcat equipment—including loaders, excavators, compact tractors and zero-turn mowers—helped volunteers complete projects efficiently and safely.
“Community Days are about strengthening the bonds between our employees and the neighborhoods we call home,” said Scott Park, CEO and vice chairman of Doosan Bobcat Inc. “The dedication our teams show through volunteering makes our company stronger and contributes to a brighter future for our communities.”
Highlights from 2025: Strengthening Communities Year-Round
Bobcat’s commitment to community support extends beyond these seasonal programs. Throughout the year, the company invested in several initiatives that champion environmental stewardship, education and local engagement.
Work Worth Doing
Bobcat continued recognizing individuals and organizations who make a meaningful difference through its Work Worth Doing initiative. Brand ambassadors teamed up with Bobcat to honor community heroes and surprise deserving recipients with support and equipment.
During Park and Recreation Month, Bobcat launched a social media effort encouraging people to share photos of Bobcat equipment at work. Each post using #WorkWorthDoing generated a donation toward park preservation efforts, resulting in a $150,000 contribution to the National Recreation and Park Association.
STEM Education Support
Bobcat invested $200,000 in scholarships and STEM programs at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s William States Lee College of Engineering, supporting future engineers, supply chain professionals and innovators.
Interactive STEM Learning at Gateway to Science
Bobcat also partnered with North Dakota’s Gateway to Science to design and build an outdoor interactive excavator exhibit. The hands-on experience introduces children to engineering and hydraulics through real machine controls and encourages early engagement with STEM concepts.
A Culture Built on Giving Back
“Giving back is an essential part of who we are,” Park said. “When we support our communities and empower others to accomplish more, we help shape a better world for everyone.”
Bobcat’s year-round commitment to volunteerism, education and environmental stewardship continues to strengthen communities and reflects the company’s core values and long-term mission.
