Building a Reputation: How GBH Enterprises Stays Ahead with Bobcat’s Leasing Program

Discover how GBH Enterprises, led by Brad Hull, maintains its sterling reputation in Southern California's construction industry by leveraging Bobcat's leasing program for a modern and reliable fleet. With a focus on appearance and dependability, they tackle high-profile projects with precision and efficiency, setting a trend for other contractors in the region.

From Pressure Washing to Precision Concrete Work

For Brad Hull, running a high-profile demolition and asphalt grinding company wasn’t always the plan. His journey started in an unexpected place—cleaning heavy equipment.

Brad’s first business involved pressure washing skid-steer loaders, excavators, and graders for a large asphalt company. Over time, he developed an appreciation for well-maintained, high-performing equipment and how a professional image impacts business.

Eventually, Brad decided he wanted to do more than clean machines—he wanted to operate them. He jumped into a Bobcat® loader and started experimenting with concrete removal. The learning curve was steep, but after months of trial and error, he mastered the craft. Contractors noticed his skill, and GBH Enterprises was born.

Today, GBH Enterprises is a major player in Southern California’s construction industry, with a body of work that includes Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center), the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum NASCAR track conversion, and major freeway projects.

Maintaining a High Standard with Bobcat Equipment

Brad quickly realized that running a successful demolition and concrete removal company required more than just skill—it required reliable equipment that could handle the toughest jobs. Downtime was not an option.

“You’re out in the middle of the street representing the company, so you like to use newer equipment that is reliable and looks good,” Brad says. “It helps keep up your reputation that you use reliable machines. If our equipment broke down, we might have 30 asphalt trucks sitting there waiting for us to get going again.

To ensure maximum reliability and efficiency, GBH Enterprises leverages Bobcat’s two-year leasing program through Inland Bobcat in Riverside, California.

The company’s fleet consists of:

  • Bobcat T770 Compact Track Loader

  • Six Bobcat S770 Skid-Steer Loaders

  • Bobcat E42 Compact Excavator

By leasing equipment on a two-year cycle, GBH Enterprises always has access to the latest, most efficient machines. The benefits are clear:

  • New equipment with low hours under warranty

  • Minimal downtime and reduced maintenance costs

  • Consistently modern fleet that maintains a professional appearance

This strategy allows GBH to focus on the job at hand without worrying about equipment failures or costly repairs.

How Leasing Transformed GBH Enterprises

One of the most pivotal moments in GBH Enterprises’ history came in 2008, when Brad switched to Bobcat’s leasing program. It was a game-changer for the company.

Leasing Bobcat machines provided the financial flexibility to keep up with demand while maintaining a high level of efficiency. With new equipment always in rotation, GBH could take on bigger projects with confidence.

The ability to extend a lease or purchase a machine at the end of the term gave Brad the control he needed to manage his fleet effectively. Whether working on ports, freeways, or stadiums, he knew his team was operating the best equipment available.

A Reputation That Sets the Standard

Today, GBH Enterprises has grown to 18 employees and serves over 130 clients. Their fast, precise, and clean approach to concrete removal has set them apart from competitors.

Employees credit Bobcat’s hand and foot controls for enabling greater precision, allowing them to isolate large concrete sections for easy removal. The efficiency of their process means that other contractors can begin pouring new surfaces faster, keeping projects on schedule.

Brad’s commitment to excellence and reliability hasn’t gone unnoticed. Other contractors now look to GBH Enterprises as the standard to follow.

“The team at Inland Bobcat says they’re often asked, ‘Let me get a setup to match the GBH guys!’

With an ever-growing reputation, a fleet of state-of-the-art Bobcat machines, and a commitment to efficiency, GBH Enterprises is poised to continue leading the industry for years to come.

And for Brad Hull, it all started with a pressure washer and a dream.
